The app is distributed via GitHub Releases. Supports Windows and macOS, including Apple Silicon.
One-click install. On first launch Windows may fetch WebView2 - a built-in component required to render the UI.
Universal build for Intel and Apple Silicon. Runs natively on Apple Silicon and feels as fast as possible.
Install & launch
From GitHub Releases - button above. Windows: .exe or .msi. macOS: .dmg.
Windows: run the installer and follow the wizard. macOS: drag Spark into the Applications folder.
On first launch the license activation window appears.
Paste the UUID license key you received on Discord.
After activation you can apply a referral code to get +3 extra days on your subscription.
System requirements
Spark is built on Tauri - it reuses your system's native WebView, which keeps resource usage minimal.
Auto-update
Spark updates itself - when a new version is available the app offers to download and relaunch. Config and license are preserved.
If something goes wrong
Click 'More info' → 'Run anyway'. The app is signed; reputation builds up over time.
System Preferences → Security & Privacy → 'Open Anyway' for Spark.
Check your internet - activation requires a connection to Spark's servers. Still stuck? Ping us on Discord.
Open Settings → Application → make sure Sound Enabled is on and volume isn't at zero.
